Atah and Milo
Atah and Milo are two sweet senior gentlemen who came to GRRSN after the sudden loss of their beloved owner. Having spent their lives together, they found themselves needing a safe place to land and thanks to one of our wonderful Forever Foster program, they’ll be able to stay together while receiving all the love and care they deserve.
Atah is a 14 year old Golden mix with a heart as golden as his coat. He has allergies and arthritis, so getting around isn’t as easy as it once was, but don’t let that fool you, he still loves to play ball and gets excited whenever it’s time for his favorite game. He may move a little slower these days, but his spirit is as playful as ever.
Milo is a 12 year old Flat Coated Retriever with a gentle, sensitive soul. He’s the quieter of the two and prefers to take his time getting comfortable, but once he does, he’s a loyal and loving companion. Milo has been diagnosed with kidney disease and is receiving the specialized care and prescription diet he needs to help him feel his best.
Together, these boys are everything we love about senior dogs. They are gentle, easygoing companions with sweet personalities and grateful hearts. They don’t ask for much, just a soft place to rest, a little attention and the company of the people they love.
Atah and Milo are part of GRRSN’s Forever Foster program, which means they will remain in the loving home of their foster family while GRRSN provides for their ongoing medical care and needs. Because of the generosity of our supporters, these wonderful old gentlemen can continue to enjoy their lives surrounded by comfort, compassion and dignity.
Your support helps make stories like Atah and Milo’s possible. Thank you for helping us give senior dogs the love and care they deserve.
