Rascal

Have you been looking for someone to keep you company, play games and even accompany you on road trips?

If so, we have the perfect someone for you!  He happens to have four legs and a tail and goes by the name of Rascal!

Rascal has joined us at GRRSN as his previous owner became ill and could no longer care for this sweet boy.

He is an energetic five year old who is on the bigger side, weighing eighty-three pounds.  Please note, he’s not overweight, he’s just a big-boned boy!

He is house trained, rides well in the car and follows basic commands, including giving you his paw!

Rascal shows a lot of enthusiasm when meeting new people, but will calm down shortly thereafter.  He plays nicely with other dogs, but does not do well with cats.  Due to his size and strength, we feel a home with older children would be the best fit for him.

Rascal has hypothyroidism, which thankfully is very manageable with daily medication.  In the past, he hadn’t received his medication regularly which contributed to some skin issues.  We are optimistic that with consistent medication and care, his skin and beautiful fur will improve.

This big, energetic boy is looking for someone to give him love, routine, and the companionship he deserves. And if you’re looking for a four-legged friend to join you on adventures, play games, go for car rides and give plenty of love, Rascal may just be your guy!
