Sky

10-year-old Sky came to us in a horrible condition.  Sky had been living outside in a junkyard, chained to a table.  She was filthy, scared and she had a huge tumor on her tummy that had ruptured.  She was in desperate need of medical care!

Sky had the saddest face that we had ever seen and we have seen a lot!  Years of neglect had taken its toll, and Sky had given up all hope.  🥲

Sky took a few days to understand that she was now living in a loving “forever foster” home.  She had a well-needed bath, some nutritious food and — most of all — tons of love!  She now knows what it’s like to go for walk.  She has a warm, new bed, and she will never sleep outside alone again. She is loved!

Unfortunately, Sky’s tumor was cancerous. We are hoping to give this sweet baby some time to enjoy her new wonderful life.  We will do whatever is needed to prolong her life.
