Cross Your Paws and Fingers for Laney

I hope you’re all dry and home safely.  I wanted to let you all know that my Laney, who we adopted about 5 months ago, had a growth removed on Wednesday.  We found out yesterday that it was a mast cell tumor.  She’ll have another surgery tomorrow and then she’ll start a 3 month course of chemotherapy.  I feel like she was meant to come to us so that when she got sick, she’d have a family that cared enough for her to give her every chance to get well.  Please keep a good thought for her in the coming months and give your dogs and extra hug and a kiss today.
