Nala – Adoption Pending

Sometimes, a dog’s journey to rescue happens in the blink of an eye.  For Nala, that journey began when her family was being evicted and a fellow rescue volunteer discovered that a beautiful Golden Retriever needed somewhere safe to go!

Nala is a sweet 3 year old Golden who has already experienced more change than any dog should endure.  When she was first picked up, she was frightened and tried to escape.  With her world changing all around her, it’s easy to understand why.  She was leaving the only home she knew and stepping into unfamiliar territory!

Her mindset changed once she realized she was in loving hands.

We are still learning more about this little angel, but we do know that Nala is what we lovingly call a Velcro Golden.  Once she trusts you, she wants to be right beside you, following you from rom to room, and soaking up lots of attention and affection.

We also know she gets along well with other dogs.

She is now getting the veterinary care she needs including vaccinations and a scheduled spay.

Her past few days were filled with uncertainty, but it brought her to us and we will make sure her future is one filled with love and security.
