Rosie

Please meet Rosie.  Rosie is a petite, approximately two-year-old female who is believed to be a Golden mix.  She looks mostly Golden, is beautiful, and has a wonderful temperament to match.

Rosie is great with both dogs and cats, although the foster’s cat doesn’t seem to share her enthusiasm!

Rosie is super sweet, but she is also very shy.  She’s not sure why she wound up as a stray, and she needs someone who can be patient, understanding, and give oodles of love.

She does not yet walk on a leash, and while at first, she did well in a crate, she has decided she no longer wants any part of it.

As with many rescues, Rosie may simply need time to decompress, get used to new surroundings and routines, and gain a sense of security and trust.

A little gentle training and a lot of patience with Rosie will go a long way in helping her come out of her shell and become the happy and confident girl we know she can be!

Some dogs can take a little extra time to find their way, and Rosie is worth every minute of it!
