Meet Baby – A Shy Sweetheart Ready to Bloom! 🌸🐾

Baby is a 5-month-old Golden Retriever mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy black coat. With the look of a Flat-Coated Retriever and a gentle spirit all her own, Baby came to GRRSN as an owner surrender and a bit unsure of the world around her.

Before joining our rescue, Baby had never seen a vet or even worn a collar. Understandably, her first few days were overwhelming, she was frightened, unfamiliar with leashes, and unsure how to trust. But thanks to the patience and kindness of her incredible foster dad, Baby is beginning to find her paws.

Though still shy, Baby is making slow, steady progress. She’s learning how to go outside, getting braver by the day, and even enjoys swimming! She’s especially comforted by the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine buddy to show her the ropes.

Baby is healthy, vaccinated, and will need a booster and spay in the coming weeks. She is  house-trained and used to life on a ranch, so she’s great with other animals, just still learning about people and new environments.

We’re so proud of how far Baby has come, and we know that with a little patience, lots of love, and a calm, understanding home, she’ll blossom into the happy, playful pup she was always meant to be.
