Meet Abner, a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who is ready to fill your days with fun, love, and plenty of cuddles. Abner is a young, strong, energetic boy who is convinced that every walk is an exciting adventure…and he’s always ready to get out and explore. Just be prepared, as Abner is still working on his leash manners and can be quite the puller!

Abner is a sweet boy who loves attention, enjoys playing, and absolutely loves chasing tennis balls. He’s the kind of dog who will happily keep you moving and then soak up all the attention you’re willing to give him.  He also does well with other dogs, making him a fun-loving companion for an active household.

Because of his size, strength, and zest for life, Abner would do best in a home with older children who can keep up with his energetic personality.
