Maggie is a forever foster with us due to a serious digestive condition that requires lifelong, intensive management. Her system is incredibly delicate, and even the smallest deviation from her prescription-only diet can cause painful, dangerous flare-ups. That means no treats, no table scraps, and absolutely no exceptions, just her special (and very costly) food that keeps her comfortable, stable and happy.

She’s a sweetheart through and through, loyal, calm, and content with a cozy bed and a loving human by her side. Maggie Mae’s only request is she likes to be the only dog in your life. She likes her space and her people all to herself and we love her for knowing what she wants.
