Casper
UPDATE FROM FOSTER 5/27: Casper is a very sweet boy that loves everyone he meets. He is very gentle and loves to be near his people as much as possible. He would be great in a busy home with kids to play with and lots of people to love him. He knows his basic commands and is fully potty trained. He loves to play ball and fetch, treasures toys of all kinds, and is even curious around the pool. He may just be a swimmer someday!
Casper sleeps through the night near his favorite people, but likes to rise early for a quick potty. He is food motivated and interested in all kinds of treats, but is always very gentle taking food from your hand.
Casper is an incredibly sweet boy that would be a great addition to a family looking for a forever best friend. He may be big, but he is oh-so-gentle with humans of all shapes and sizes. If you are looking for a love bug, this is your guy.
UPDATE! Casper’s foster mom says he’s perfect, knows his basic commands and is a good boy in the house. She also says he never barks unless he sees another dog while out on their walk.
Meet Casper!
This 4-year-old Goldendoodle has had a rough couple of months. Found as a stray in early March, he ended up at the local shelter – sick, matted, and alone. He was adopted briefly, only to be returned for barking too much. Poor Casper just needed someone to believe in him – and that’s where GRRSN stepped in!
Casper is now safe with us. Despite all he’s been through, Casper is a lovable, affectionate pup who adores people. However, he doesn’t seem to do well with other dogs – likely a result of the stress and instability he’s faced recently. Because of this, we’re seeking a home where Casper can be the only dog. He’s strong on the leash and tends to pull, but he knows basic commands and even gives a happy little shake! He’s smart, joyful, and so deserving of a second chance. After all he’s been through, he deserves to be someone’s one and only.
Let’s show Casper some love and help him find the stable, happy home he’s been waiting for.
