Dug became a member of our family on 8-27-2012. It was love at first sight for me and my kids and he loved us. He was our world and we did everything together — hikes, trips to the park — you name it, he was always by our side.
I found out in mid December of 2019 last year that he had a big heart-based tumor and it was filling his body up with fluid, and this was end of life for him. We had the fluids drained twice, but it came back worse each time, and I had to make the toughest decision of my life — to put our loving, sweet boy out of his suffering. We were devastated. I helped him cross the Rainbow Bridge on January 10th. I never cried so hard in my life; my soul was crushed.
I still feel I don’t know how to go on without him. RIParadise my sweet boy, you will always be in our hearts …
