Dewey

Dewey Hagler, rescued from GRRSN in July of 2008, a then 10-month-old puppy that was found in the backyard of a foreclosed home, came to Debbie and Todd Hagler from a wonderful foster family in July of 2008. Dewey had a tough entry into his new home life, but soon and quickly adapted  to his new furry family and human family. Dewey gained other siblings of the four-legged kind over the years, but his Sister Mabel (from the Best Friends group) was his longest and best friend. He gained his youngest sibling Sunny (or Sunglow as was her given name also from Best Friends) and they got along like true siblings do. He was able to make several trips to California to meet and visit with his Grandma, who said he was her favorite Granddog. Dewey’s mama and papa had a very hard decision to make on May the 4th 2019 to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. He went peacefully in his Daddy’s arms, under the watchful eye of his Mama, with his Favorite Vet Dr. Brian Hammis caring for him to the very end. He will always be remembered by many as a loving, happy dog and member of our Family. We loved him as much if not more than he loved us all.
