Marley
We went and met Marley at the Sun City Animal Hospital where she was surrendered and the instant we met her we fell in love with her and knew she was a little Golden girl that we wanted to become part of our family so we took her home with us. When we got her home she met our other puppy-dog, Misty who is a ½ Golden and ½ White Lab. Misty is very tall…very long legged and she makes Marley look like a much younger puppy than the 6 months difference in their age. After we brought Marley home it was only a couple of minutes of meet and greet and they were off running and romping all over the back yard. They played until they were totally exhausted. We showed Marley how to go in and out of the doggie-door only one time and after that we had to laugh because she must have gone in and out the doggie-door at least 20 times, just going in and out. They have bonded so well that they don’t want to be separated. They like to sleep close to each other and to rub against each other all the time. Watching the two of them playing and the teasing each other with toys and such keeps us laughing. Within a couple of days of bringing Marley home we left for our month trip up north to Washington and Oregon. Marley is a great traveler and became very comfortable in the 5th wheel almost immediately. They both enjoyed all the different parks we stayed in where they got to take walks checking out all the new smells and all the new places where they could just run and play freely.
We want to thank you for letting us become Marley’s forever home. She is an absolute wonderful, loving puppy and we love her very much. We are currently working on some training, such as she is not to chew on my plants out in the yard nor dig in the yard, but she is a very smart puppy and we are sure it won’t take much for her to learn that these are a no. We are also working on trying to help her overcome some of her fears from her past, but those issues will take a bit longer but we are sure that in time she will overcome them.
Thank you again,
Bob and Jenny Kehm
