Chloe
Dear GRRSN,
We’ve had Chloe with us for 6 months now and wanted to share our experiences with you.
When we picked up Chloe, we could see how high energy she was. We’d forgotten how a 5-year-old Golden is still a pup! She’s really energized us and put some life back in our 10 year old, Megan. She’s been the perfect lady in the house and never a problem. She’s learned the ways of the house quickly and is now looking forward to going out to pick up the newspaper and the mail… and she’s not shy about barking at us if we’re dragging our feet! She gets overexcited when getting ready for her daily walk, but settles down as soon as the leash goes on at the gate.
We’ve gotten her used to staying outside with her sister when we go to the store, and it’s really helped the two of them bond. It’s been a period of adjustment, with her getting used to us, as well as us getting used to what she may be used to and understanding her. We love her dearly and know we’ll have many years of love back from her.
As they say, “Who Rescued Who?”
