Bear

Hello Friends at GRRSN!

I am writing in response to your letter dated 10/18/14. Bear, formerly known as Jupiter, is doing great! In the five months we have had him, he has come so far. Most importantly, he has bonded with his sister, Abbey, and they are now inseparable. Jupiter was a dog who had minimal human contact and lived outside (neglected) the first year and a half of his life. He may not be the prettiest Golden, nor can he compete with his sister in athletic events………BUT he is the sweetest, most loving, affectionate, happy male dog we could have imagined. He is quite the character. He is a big boy, and loves to cuddle and be a lap dog!
If you look at him, he wags his tail, beats it so hard it sounds like a drum!

He has had no behavioral issues…… a perfect Gentlemen!

Never had an accident in the house. New environment, food, diarrhea, we struggled with “Potty” issues for some time, but now he is fine. And again, NEVER had an accident in the house. He was a trooper.

When we brought him home on June 6th, he spent the afternoon curled up with me next to the couch. He was afraid, and scared. I assured him that was never to be again. His eyes teared all afternoon……I slept next to him that nite after he jumped up on the bed and gave me a kiss…..How could I resist……. He was right next me to me the next morning and Dan had slept on the couch! He knew he had a home, and love. Our only regret is we wish we could have had him as a puppy. He loves food, walks and to be loved! He loves to have a Mama. Dan calls him Mama’s Boy!

Our Abbey turns three November 23, and Bear is two December 2nd. They will have many good years ahead together. Bear is no longer alone!

Thank you GRRSN for all you do to help beautiful Goldens find a Happy Home.

Dan, Kathy Abbey and Bear 🙂
