Cat Owner Dies – Updates

UPDATE!

Nighteen cats have been relocated to various rescue groups throughout Las Vegas, thanks to The NVSPCA, The Poppy Foundation, Animal Kingdom, FUPI and private adopters. As of 1/24/14 nine have been adopted!

Hi everyone, as some of you may know, I am in the pet care field. One of my long time clients passed away two days before Christmas. Unfortunately, she left behind 20 cats that need immediate new homes.

I know they are not Golden’s but if you are reading this blog then I also know that you are all animal lovers.

Wouldn’t it be nice to welcome a new cat, or two into your life for 2014.

All the cats will be up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and test negative for feline Leukemia and Aids.

One adorable lady named Izzy did test positive for feline Leukemia so she would need to go into a home with no other cats or with others that have this same disease. The good news is that FeLV-positive cats may live many years in a healthy state.

As I pull more cats and get them to the vet for a check up I will post their pictures and bios.
Izzy update, I had her retested and she is FeLV negative and is ready for adoption.

Two days before Christmas my human mom passed away tragically, leaving me all alone…

I am five and half years young and have the energy of a kitten. My favorite thing is to play, play, play!

I am very social and have lived with other cats my whole life, can’t remember if I have ever met a dog or not, but pretty sure I’d like them too.

My perfect home would be with someone, maybe a little girl or boy who had lots of time to, what??? Play with me.

I just love laying on my back with my legs up in the air, my human always thought that was adorable.

Penny – Female DMH- Adopted!

Penny came to us because her owner died just two days before Christmas and had no where else to go… She is five years old and absolutely adorable. At first glance you will notice her stunning golden eyes but her personality is really what you will remember about her. She is a little love bug and wants to sit in your lap and nuzzle with you… she can’t get enough love and attention from her people. She loves to play with ribbons and even carries them in her mouth! She also loves to be brushed! She is good with other cats and with dogs.

Nova, which means, “A sudden brightening of a star…” describes this lovely girl to a tee. She is about 2 and half years old and came to us through no fault of her own, when tragically her mom passed away just two days before Christmas. She has been well loved and cared for and simply needs a forever new home. You have never felt a softer coat in your life and she enjoys letting you give lots of pets to touch it. Nova gets along just fine with other cats and as a matter of fact is friends with Penny who is also on this site and ready for adoption.
