Sasha re-named “Sachimo”

Sasha was surrender by his previous owner to GRRSN February 24th, 2011.  I must congratulate and thank them for the wonderful training they gave to him.  I also want to thank them for having the courage to surrender their boy when they no longer had the financial means to care for him properly.  They had fallen on tough times and could barely take care of themselves.  So, if Sasha’s previous family should stumble upon this blog site, let me tell you he is a wonderful boy, he is healthy, has lots of pet friends and we love him dearly!

Sasha came to our home as a foster and obviously you have figured out by now, that after meeting him he became our adopted boy.  The name Sasha morphed into Sachimo (as in Louie Armstrong’s nickname.)  Then over time, little nicknames popped up like Sach, Moe and now, Old Man Moe!

Yes, he is a little greyer than when we first met him and has a few more “old man bumps” on him and yes, he is quite a bit slower than a few years ago, but he is our boy and we love him.

He was born December 1, 1998, so Happy Birthday Old Man Moe!  We love you!
