Twiggy Day Eleven…

Well, it has been eleven days since this angel was found by Animal Control wandering the streets on Boulder Hwy.  She has been in foster with us for eight of those days.

As you can see she absolutely loves her tennis balls!  She can also out run our Chesapeake Bay Retriever and our Black Lab in pursuit of that tennis ball.  That just blew me away because of her very fragile state.  Twigger just has the most amazing spirit and zest for life!  She follows me everywhere and is always wagging her tail.

She is eating very well and gets fed three to four times per day, unfortunately she has thrown up two of the eight days that we have had her and most days she has runny stool.

She will have another blood panel done this coming Wednesday to see if there are any changes.  Currently her condition is described as guarded to poor…  I think that medical science may have done all that could be done for her this late in the game.  Now all we need is a miracle, so please keep Miss Twiggy in your heart and prayers.
