Most new mothers wish they had an extra set of hands, but Cheryl Alexander has something even better: four extra paws. The British mom, who suffers from a nerve disease called reflex neurovascular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair, gets loads of help from her golden retriever, Orca. The specially trained pooch not only pitches in with laundry and errands but also helps Alexander change baby daughter Lily’s diaper. Alexander just says the word and Orca fetches the changing pad, wipes and a fresh diaper, helps remove Lily’s onesie, and even takes the dirty diaper to the trash.
